I demand to be in charge of the Roleplay airforce, if I can. I will go well over the wall.

Titles are all good and fine, but we'd need to prove them in combat.

I wish to be in charge of Communications and Foreign Defense.

In other words, I want to be the guy that spreads around the PMs and defends the Roleplay Section when it's attacked in other sections.

We are all pretty much well known defenders of the RP section, and we would be suspected very quickly of an attack if we were all suddenly to post in another section we don't ever visit. Although I hate to suggest something which seems so dirty as a tactic, we might need to use alts to make ourselves seem less involved, up until the very end.

If you intend to follow me in using alt warfare (which I don't really suspect you do) I'd suggest you right now begin to fade in an alt, posting a few times here and there, so they look more natural when they start any kind of RP.

The issue of where we are attacking is yet to be resolved. I say we leave that for a bit, and focus now on getting support.

I believe before we use Alt warfare we set up a kind of rule book, a directive, perhaps, to make sure we keep some kind of conduct.

Like we don't make a thread populated entirely by alts, and we have a limit of alts we can use.

    And how we use them.

It's not the problem that we are RP-centric. We all get around. The problem is that no matter where we attack, initially we will have to make it appear accidental, and people as known to be RPers as us wouldn't be likely to make accidents like that.

So far this is what I'd think the first step to our strategy would be:
Someone makes a single thread that's as much to do with the section as possible, but still an RP. People join this. It becomes popular, but not too popular; just popular enough to spawn copycats and variations.
Now, the thread has to be made by someone not well known, someone who'd make the mistake of putting an RP in another section. We have to hope this first one isn't locked, of course, so we'll have to work hard on it.

Greene, that's a good idea; we need checks in place to make sure we aren't spamming and to make sure we don't lose our way. However, we will need to use some dirtier tactics if we want to win.

The Sporum limits alts to five. I say we try to use only two at most. The aim is to get natives and other people to join, not just ourselves.

I know, but I'm pretty sure that we don't want to become terrorists and start using alts to Suicide Bomb other sections.

Unless, of course, all hope is lost, because then we should just throw all caution to the wind.

Agreed. I'll do it, since I can make a semi-n00bish RP.

    Or Greene.

    My alt:

    RokiSoki.

We aren't planning on doing that. Are we?

We will make no move until we have sufficient numbers.

Terrorism is bad, because the minute we (or our alts) get labeled as spammers they will see no peace. We need them to remain newbs; polite, but naive. We need to make sure no one is against us here.

I would have gone for "coersion and perversion" as an approach but then, this is your thing.

    Hmm . . .

This sounds almost like we're gay people trying to infiltrate a Straight Country Club.

    Except I'm not gay.

Perhaps while we launch or secret attack, the more well-knowned of us have an open attack on the other threads, demanding why some people don't like roleplays, waving banners and what-not, make some fan clubs, the works.

If you are going to do that, be very careful not to blow things up. A full scale war on your border is dangerous, they tend to spill over (UBD+Non-UBD for a spore example)

Starting a group (based around this RPG) and making a few creations on Spore might also help if you are going for the adventure or Spore creation related areas. Be careful to get the right balance though wherever you go, the Natives aren't the only thing you have to worry about. Suicide Alting is a fairly silly idea as well...

We will work initially in that direction, but then, we have to consider where we want this to end up. The aim would eventually (in a distant future) be to declare an RP section victory over the section we attack, and that means at some point we will have to move our tactics onward from simple sabotage into visible action; what we're planning is the bridge, which will be the most dangerous time.

while this may seem impossible, I assume you know how quickly it took for the Sporum RP section to entirely abandon any pretense of being Spore-related; we'd hope that a flood of non-adventure (or cell, depending on where we go) related RPs will make the mods give up as they did with S&S and the RP section.

I have some problems with that post Morsecode:

    1) You have no idea who I am
    2) You are telling me your plans despite the above
    3) You are lucky I am neutral
    4) Go for the less populated areas not the adventure section
    5) Be careful about assuming what their reaction will be
    6) The above is because "No plan survives contact with the enemy"

Well, we're kind of not worried, as you decrying that the Roleplay World is invading would be met with disbelief and scorn, not to mention teasing and shunning.

And we're not even figuring out much tactics yet.

I really don't mind. If you were really an enemy there would be no way to stop you anyway. You could lurk until you discovered everything even if I didn't say it here.
