Otherworlds: Makai, another hell.(The signup thread of course)

Makai.....a strange place that is literaly out of this world we know has Earth. It's a place made by a singal being, everything there is made by this being, down to the last plant and person. No one knows why they created it, but everyone knows of its exsistence, and fear it. It hasn't really caused any trouble for anyone though, until recently that is....

Many Demons not from our world have been coming over, causing pure havoc and destruction. Many fear that is's Makai, trying to take over our world, others think that they are just attacking for fun. No one can really say why this large migration of Demons has accured, but it hasn't gone unnoticed, not at all. Well it's true not many people can do anything about it, there are a few who can.

People of great power, such as those with divine powers or those who have learned the ways of magic can stand and fight. Then there are the demons of Earth, many of them do not like the Makai Demons running in on their grounds and seek to fight back to. These Demons and Humans have formed a shaky alliance to end this strange threat before it overwhelms them completely.

Plot- You are a Human or Demon from Earth that has gone to stop this strange threat from Makai, and you are intrusting your well being with the others who came to. The journey won't be easy, for Makai is full of many powerful Demons and other creatures, and then their is their leader and creator to worry about to. From the Passage of the Otherly Dimension we will start, and travel until we reach Makai Manor, the home of this storie's Big Bad.

Classes- Human

Magic User- Magic users come in many differnet forms really, some deal with elemental magic, others deal with other types of magic. They aren't very good at close hand fighting most of the time, but they all can learn how to bring themselfs eternal youth.

Types-
Elmentalist: Use magic based on the elements, more powerful ones can combine elements.

Physicalist: Uses magic to buff their abilites and powers to greater lengths.

Destructionist: Use powerful beam type magic that can disintagrate their enemies where they stand.

Necromancer: Forbidden magics that are often shuned apon, deal with resurecting the dead and often other dark things.

Celestialist: Uses magic based on the stars and planets, and grow stronger at night. They often look to one celestial body as their main source of power.

Psychics: They have the power to read minds and lift things with their minds. Can only read a mind if they make bodily contact with the other.

Divine humans- These humans have been given the powers of their deity(s) and use it to expel demons and other dark things from the world, these come in many different forms. It is a taboo to study eternal magic for them(immortality).

types-
Battle Monk(paladin): They use divine weapons to help them deal with evil, and can channel the power of their god(s) into their weapons.

Monk/Preist: They use divine magic and powers to help banish the evil that come across them. They often have some form of melee weapon, but aren't very good at it. Both are often strict.

Nuns/Shrine Maidens: Use divine range weapons like tags, needles, arrows, and blades. Nuns are often more strict, well Shrine Maidens are often laided back.

Class- Demon

Elemental Demons- They are demons who use the powers of the elements to their use, but are often stuck with just that one element. Choose an element, I'll tell you if you can use it or not.

Youkai- Eastern demons, who's powers can range far and wide. They are often very differnet from each other. They love to devour humans, but with them now able to fight back, human devouring has become very rare.

Types-
Kitsune: Fox demons with power over magic and elements, and they grow new tails over their lifes. The more tails, the more powerful they are.(No one starts with nine)

Oni: Playful human like demons with the only differnece being horns and increable strength.

Yuki-onna: "Snow Woman" or winter spirits who can control the weather. They hate the warmth of spring and summer, but some are strong enough to even bring winter in the middle of summer.

Tengu: Fast and powerful wind spirits that control wind aswell. They often looked mostly human, aside from the pair of crow wings sticking out of their backs at all times.

Half Demon- A hybrid of human and demon, with many varying powers and abilites. Divine things harn't as harmful to them, and they are able to use human magics. They all have some time in which they are increably weak though, as weak as an average human.


Rules-
1: No Spam, and if you don't like the RP then don't post about something say you don't like it, it's just stupid.
2: No flaming and trolling others, it's just NOT cool.
3: Godmodding will get you a nice 10 page ban, two times will get you kicked. Yes I'm serious on that.(this included highjaking others characters)
4: No powerplaying, which means you don't know everything and you can't dodge everything under the sun!
5: NPCs and plot twist are under my orders and mine alone, if you want an NPC then I might say okay, but plot twist won't be as easy to get.
6: Please listen to me, and me alone.
7: Keep literate, and keep your spelling good. A few errors are believable, but something like "I shot himz and I is winnig" is by no means, acceptable!
8: 2 sentences at the very least if you will, it's not that hard.
9: When filling out your character sheet, be creative and don't ripoff others.
10: Don't worry about keeping gore out, just no blood baths....unless I say so.
11: Love is not a bad thing, but it is if you go TO far.

Species: Human- monk.
Age: 17
Descritption: He's about 5ft 7in, and he weighs about 160lbs. He's caucasian, though kind of tanned, due to all the time he spends outside. Which complements his short golden blonde hair, and abnormal, but perfectly possible gold eyes. Not that you'd usually see his skin, considering the two wardrobes choices he has to choose from are a white robe going down his body all the way to above his feet, which has little more decoration then that. Or, his other choice would be his personal favorite, crafted from the bodies of about seven kitsunes he's had to kill, some of which had two tails, crafted into a nice shirt and pants made form kitsune animal hide, along with nine whole tails sticking out the back of the pants. They represent nothing more then a symbol of pride he likes to carry.
Personality: He's a very nice person, perhaps too nice. He has the tendancies to be nice to people he shouldn't, often going as far to be kind to the demon he's about to have to kill for the good of the people, trying to find if there's an alternitive. Which, considering how most respond, there is almost never. He's very agianst violence, but if forced, will fight valiently.
Weapons: A pair of long spiked claws on gloves that he wears. As well as a long staff, which he tends to use for his devine perposes.
Bio: Orphaned before he could remember, he was never really told much of this, but was taken in by two white kitsunes, servents of the god Inari. He lived with them until he was about six, when they told him a story about his heritage, and that it was his duty to become a monk, and they dropped him off at a monistery and never returned. He trained as a monk there until he was thirteen, and became a powerful monk indeed, even if his strange personality tended to get in the way. after leaving the monistery, he began traveling the land, cleansing it of the demons he must, and helping those in need. He even found his adoptive parents at one point, and has long since stayed in touch with them.
Other: He secretly wishes he was a Kitsune like his "parents" were. As well as, he is a monk for the god Inari, god of the harvest, who uses kitsunes as his messangers.

Species: Human- Destructionist
Age: 18
Descritption: He is 5'7" in height and weighs 175 pounds. His skin is pale white and he has no visable scars what so ever. His hair is a mix between brown and red, primarly brown, and his eyes are yellowish green in color. He wears a black robe with no sleeves, under it is a long sleeve white shirt and black pants. His black robe has a white lining on it and alchemic symbols on it that serve no real purpose other then to look cool. His wears black boots to finish it all up, they aren't very tall. His hair is always kept clean and neat like his clothing.
Personality: Alexzander is a very strange person, and a bit of a kelpto. He injoys fighting with others for no good reason other then to test his own abilites and is a bit of a jerk when it comes to working with others. He has a very disagreeable additude most of the time, but his outgoing and friendly person more then make up for it most of the time. He often steals from the demons he kills or his friends, and it's never a good idea to leave him incharge of something of value.
Weapons: He has his wand, a small brown stick with a curled end and a small chain on the other side. It's only 7 inches long and without it, he has a hard time channeling his powers. Then there is his broom, which he often rides on like a surf board and will often use as a weapon to bash his enemys with.
Bio: He orhpaned himself at a young age by running away from his home, where his powers caused others to think he was a Demon. He was taken in by a grand and powerful magician known as Baron, and under his teachings, learned the ways of magic. He was a gifted child, but his additude and unwillingness to train often caused problems. He still can't properly channel his power, and is forced to use a wand inorder to channel it dispite a normal magician no longer needing it at the age of 16. With the recent events in the world, he has taken to hunting Demons without his masters permission. His master contiunes to believe he isn't ready for things like Demon hunting, and yet he contiunes to do that, even with the punishments he is often put through for it. The worst thing he's ever done was going to Makai once without his master knowing, and causing trouble there that would end up bringing many to it, trying to stop the crysis.
Other: He was nicknamed "Black White", due to his outfit. Well he is very powerful and knows many spells, his own weakness and inability to channel properly has kept him as nothing more then a Magician in training.



Name: Madrid Hermobo
Gender: Male
Species: Demon-Oni
Age: 1230
Descritption: Madrid is 6'9" in height and weighs 250 pounds, having tan white skin and a muscular build. His hair is short, light brown, and messy. His eyes are a crimson red color that glow when in dark places, making them erry. He has an X shaped scar on the left side of his face, plus he has pruple marks down his arms, legs, and face that resmble claw marks almost. In his mouth are sharp fangs rather then normal teeth, but only two poke out when his mouth is closed. Atop his head are two large horns that slant about half to the top. He normaly wears what looks like a white suit with the sleeves torn off and the bottom of the pants are slightly jagged. Under the coat is a simple long sleeve white shirt that shows through the ripped areas and contuines to his wrist. Chained to his left wrist is a strange gourd that never runs dry of Vadka, his favorite liquor, well chained to the right is a strange pyrimid object that holds a purpose that even he can't remember.
Personality: Like most Oni, he's a fun and bright person to be around. He loves playing around with others and will often challange any humans he thinks are interesting, thought often to things no average human could possible win at. He loves to drink, and is often drunk most of the time, and when he's drunk, he's going to be acting lazy. He dosn't mind killing humans, but he won't do it unless he has to and dosn't got along with most other demon's.
Weapons: He uses his great strength and the strange pyrimid.
Bio: Long time friend of Baron and simple Oni of the western hemisphere. He has spent most of his life looking for interesting humans and fighting them, and the only human he's ever lost to was Baron, which is why he respects the immortal mage. Alexander is often calling him a moocher, but he calls himself an uninivted house guest, and he often makes fun of any human he can find, just for fun. He didn't really mind the flood of demons from Makai at all, he thought some of them were kind of fun to play with, but he knew that something would have to be done about it eventualy.
Other: He's only really lazy when he's drunk, which is about 60% of the time. The form he's currently in isn't his true form, but simply his prefered form.

Well they are. And then you add that they're nearly the same age, and you potentially have room for a conviluted backstory that could potentially be forced in common if we were thinking that far ahead.
